Mallory + TW ][ Tallahassee Florida Wedding

Tallahassee is the longest we’ve ever driven for a for an event, but to be a part of Mallory and T.W.’s wedding was entirely worth it. They are definitely our kind of people: fun, easygoing, and a blast to hang out with. Their vows took place in the gorgeous St. John’s Episcopal church, with the fun-filled reception just next door at the Hotel Duval. Being around the rustic brick buildings, rolling hills, and narrow streets of the state capitol was nostalgic and made for a gorgeous backdrop for photos. Having the reception party on the rooftop of the Duval gave all the guests, and our cameras, some epic views of the city.

The party continued long into the night and made for one of our latest nights yet! Because of our all-day coverage, Mallory and T.W. didn’t have to watch the clocks at all. Celebratory cigars were brought out and the night came to close shortly after midnight, with one last spontaneous spin in the hotel lobby downstairs.

We headed to bed after editing a few sneak peaks for the couple, only to be awakened less than an hour later from the hotel fire alarm! Guess who we met again downstairs? Despite the craziness of the night, it was fun to see everyone one last time before we headed back home to Sarasota. One of the things we love best about being in the wedding business is the connections we make. This couple and their wonderful friends and family were such a joy to get to know over our time together in Tallahassee, and this weekend adventure with them was one we’ll never forget.
