Jara + Jameson ][ The Pavilion at Mixon Farms Bradenton Florida Wedding

It seems like forever has passed since the day we first met up for a consultation with Jara and Jameson. Truthfully, theirs was one of the longest gaps between engagement and wedding date that we have encountered, to date, but even on that first day they were immediately like friends we’ve known all our lives. You see, Jara is the type of bride who has all her ducks in a row. She is an organized planner kind of girl and had every detail of her perfect day managed. We clicked right off the bat and I knew it was going to be an amazing day. Jameson is her perfect mate: the strong and silent type, with a twinkle in his eye.

The wait was completely worth it! They chose The Pavilion at Mixon’s for the venue, one of our favorite places to take photos. Jara was gorgeous and glowing and Jameson was just beaming with joy all day long. The couple opted for a “first touch” in lieu of a first look. It was so sweet as they met up in a secluded place by the fruit crates for a brief hand holding moment, anticipating their upcoming vows and the beginning of their new life as husband and wife. Jara’s dad’s emotions when he saw his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress was touching, he was so emotional he had to turn away from the camera!

When the moment finally arrived, they said their vows with close friends and family all around. The reception afterwards was a great party, with touching speeches from the bride’s best friend and both her sisters, as well as Jameson’s brother. After the delicious dinner, the had the traditional wedding cake… and donuts! Hailing from West Virginia, Jara’s family had a heartfelt dance with Jara to the song “Take Me Home, Country Road“.
We wish this fantastic couple all the best in their new life together and we are so grateful they chose us to be a part of their day.
